Adam Osetek | REALTOR®

Adam grew up in Cranston, Rhode Island, and has been a true entrepreneur and passionate businessman since childhood. Growing up, he provided odd jobs to neighbors, sold items door to door, and organized parties for friends. As a teenager, he earned his Black Belt and began teaching, managing, and owning martial arts training centers at 15 years old. All of these experiences have developed a deep love for meeting and working with new people, as well as growing a strong, confident, outgoing nature.

After many years of successful growth in business as an entrepreneur, Adam began to pursue more of his other passion – real estate. Being a Realtor has been a true blessing and one of the most rewarding roles in life for Adam, as he loves working with people and helping them "find their place in the world."

Adam is proud to be a Realtor and Founding Agent at Compass real estate, and strives to provide high-quality agent representation to every client buying or selling a home, regardless of price point. He is also an expert at social media marketing, relationship building, and negotiation – all of which makes him a real estate agent for the modern era.

Adam is currently taking the long and tedious course of training to become a CSA (Certified Senior Advisor), and truly understands and loves working with folks who are selling their beloved family home.

Adam currently lives in Johnston, RI with his wife and real estate teammate Devon, his young son Benny, and two dogs - Tricky (a Jack Russell Terrier) and Pop-Tart (a Shepherd mix). He also has an obsession with growing his collection of watches, is glued to watching European pro soccer, playing golf, and traveling. In his free time, you can catch him exploring new restaurants all over Rhode Island, or diving into his 50’s vintage bar at home for a Bourbon and a nice cigar.

Attorney Handwerger’s interest in this field of law stems from the time she spent with her grandmother, who was disabled at a young age due to complications from multiple sclerosis and lived with her family until after Attorney Handwerger finished college. As she watched her grandmother struggle with her disability and the challenges of growing older, she realized that she was interested in learning ways in which she could assist the older population. Throughout law school and in her positions afterwards, Attorney Handwerger has dedicated her practice to areas of the law that reach and affect the older population and their families, such as estate planning, Medicaid and special needs planning. She is dedicated to assisting not only seniors, but their families as they navigate the complicated and often frustrating aging process. Please do not hesitate to call with any questions or concerns you may have about yourself a loved one. We are here to help!

Attorney Handwerger was raised in Stowe, Vermont and currently resides in Smithfield, Rhode Island, with her husband Eric and their beautiful little girls, Ella and Lillian.
